In Focus: Two years of Eurojust accountability efforts on Ukraine

Since the outbreak of the Russian war in Ukraine, Eurojust has been at the forefront of supporting accountability efforts. Just six days following the start of the war, Eurojust supported the establishment of a Joint Investigation Team into core international crimes. The JIT partners agreed to a two-year extension during the United for Justice Conference in Kyiv in February.

First Liaison Prosecutor for Iceland starts at Eurojust

Ms Kolbrún Benediktsdóttir has started as the first Liaison Prosecutor for Iceland at Eurojust. Ms Benediktsdóttir’s arrival brings the number of Liaison Prosecutors at Eurojust to twelve.

Eurojust and Panama sign Working Arrangement to step up cooperation against organised crime

The signing of the Working Arrangement formalises Eurojust’s existing Contact Points in Panama and ensures closer communication to speed up the execution of judicial cooperation requests.

Eurojust and eu-LISA discuss closer cooperation to support digitalisation of justice across Europe

The Executive Director of eu_LISA, Ms Agnès Diallo, visited Eurojust headquarters in March. Discussions focused on the advantages of closer cooperation in support of the Digital Criminal Justice initiative.
